Mr. Leon Baylor is a CSR at the Department of the Treasury, Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.

Mr. Baylor is enthusiastic about community service. A member of St. Luke “ Community” United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas, he is a Zan Wesley Holmes Servant Leadership Institute graduate. Currently, he serves as chair of the Missions Ministry, and since inception, continues to be a participant of the Curb Appeal Program.

Local
His community involvements have entailed ministering to the homeless and needy in various capacities through ministries, such as the Fishes and Loaves Ministry at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center, and shelters, such as the Brady Center, Family Gateway, and Austin. 

Street. Moreover, he supported the Hunger Busters Food Program and assisted with COVID-19 vaccinations, implementing the efforts of Project Unity, Inc., an organization that promotes interracial collaboration.

Additionally, he has actively contributed to the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., a professional educators’ organization, by helping with projects, such as Adopt a Highway and the North Texas Food Bank food preparation and distribution center.

National and Regional
His experiences entail providing care and outreach efforts regionally in Texas and Oklahoma providing roof repairs after natural disasters. He has also rendered FEMA aid and support for national disasters such as Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Ike, and Harvey.

International
He has engaged in several tours of Christian goodwill in Cuba and Puerto Rico to bridge international relations and implement construction and fundraising projects.

He is a member of the Dallas Chapter of Southern University Alumni Federation, dedicated to scholarship fundraising efforts for aspiring high school graduates. He graduated from Southern University-Shreveport -Bossier, Louisiana, and Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
